Edward Rendell joins Team Aztec for 2009

17 year old, Chelmsford based Ed joins Team Aztec for the 2009 season, having won the Thundersport GP3, 125cc championship. His racing career began, like most young men, on mini moto’s back in 2006. Having won the phoenix southern championship in September of that year, Ed moved up to a GP Conti 70cc machine. More success followed, this time in the ACU Dunlop Motostars GP80cc class, while recovering from a serious injury. During this time Edward also secured the 2008 ACU 125cc Clubmans Title.

2009 bring new challenges to Edward as he seeks to stamp his authority in the British 125cc GP Championship. Edward is currently working as a motorcycle mechanic and his in depth understanding should prove invaluable when it come to “Set Up”. When Ed is not racing he like to relax in the Gym, usually listening to “Groove Armada” on the iPod.
