A great start from P24 on the grid saw Rendell charge through the field to finish an impressive 11th at the first round of the championship. The Chelmsford rider, still recovering from his testing crash, raised a few eybrows with his plucky return. "Alot of people were surprised to see us this weekend, we were continually improving our performance and that showed in the race", Rendell commented. The team looks forward to raising the bar again.
