Solid start for Andy at Oulton Park……. Free practice 1 saw Andy take to the Cheshire circuit aiming to start where he left off at Thruxton. Damp conditions greeted the field after the overnight rain, with the “Belfast boy” finishing a comfortable P5. Session 2 saw improved conditions and a dry track. The usual suspects were making the early running. Andy looked comfortable as he popped himself back into P5 after a ¼ hour and subsequently finished the 20 minute practice in a creditable P9. ”I was very happy with the bike and all was working well, we are looking forward to tomorrow when the real business begins”, commented the 16 year old Reid.
